Lk Mary AT&T "UPGRADE" OFFER SCAM! Avoid this AT&T Store AT ALL COSTS!
So the Lk Mary Blvd AT&T customer experience formula is: GET SCAMMED + ask questions= GET LIED TO AND PATRONIZED + complain = GET BLAMED FOR GETTING SCAMMED + demand accountability = GET MOCKED AND THROWN OUT! I CAN'T be the ONLY VICTIM ---I went to trade in 3 (completely paid off) iPhone 11-Pro's, for 3 iPhone 13's. At the time my existing mo. bill was $307.00 a mo. with a 4 phone Family Unlimited Plan (grandfathered in). The salesman (tall skinny kid) said by switching to the "newest plan" my total bill would drop to $150.00 a month! And for buying 3 new iPhone 13's during the December upgrade/trade-in promotion we qualified to receive $600 of "in-store credits" but we "had to use them that day" and all I had to pay was the 7% sales tax. I said NO WAY! WHAT A SICK DEAL! After reassurances it was actually a "Store credit" and a brief debate on what to pick the kids each decided on Apple AirPod Pros priced at $249 total value $535. I happily paid the $35 sales tax. We "turned in" our old phones and had a Merry Christmas. My December bill arrived in January and it was $599.84!
After our trade in credit the monthly upgrade charge for the iPhone 13s was only $2.77 a mo. for each kid's phone and $11.11 a mo. for my 13 ProMax(only $17 total for all 3). Completely confused by the $599 bill, my son went by the store and asked "why?". They said "oh its a phone credit delay, just ignore it, that doesn't reflect your trade in yet, what the bill shows is never right, it will correct everything and balance out the next billing cycle." Wrong! Turns out the sales "man" lied directly to our face and straight scammed us for "upsell/new line upgrades/merchandise sales" commissions. My January bill was again $599.84, so I went myself in to find out what happened. The same salesman then claimed to me that he never said it was an actual "store credit"! HUH? He explained that he told all of us that he had got me "approved for a $600 line of credit"! LOL, YUR JOKING RIGHT? No, I didn't "apply for" or "request" anything related to credit. We didn't even want new AirPods, we already owned Bose Quiet Comfort earpieces(paid $279 each) They picked out AirPods because they were essentially "Free" and I only had to pay the sales tax. Turns out the "salesman" simply added the AirPods charge to my AT&T bill under "accessories" at $42.92 x 12 monthly pmts. UNREAL! Then it turns out the amazing "New Plan upgrade" that was lowing my bill to $150 a month ACTUALLY raised my monthly service bill from $305.57 a mo., by an additional $234 a month, plus the $42.92 (AirPods) plus the $17 mo.(Trade in for 13s) totaling $599! I asked the manager for her assistance, she told me to wait another month and the bill would reflect "exactly what he told you it would be, under your previous bill of $300 a mo." and that "I was the ONLY person that EVER failed to understand that it was a "Line of Credit" not a "store credit". I suggested the three of us simply review the store security video/audio of the day in question and it would solve EVERYTHING! But there was "No need for that" she said, "I already know what he told you, I looked at the paperwork" (HUH? WHAT?) She goes on to tell me, "just have your kids return the AirPods then wait for the credits." I told her I will return the AirPods and the 3 iPhone 13s and cancel my AT&T service(I've had for 14 years), including home AT&T Internet and Uverse (TV) services and give me back the same used models of iPhone 11pro that I traded in. She actually smirked and said "You had 14 days to cancel, you own them!" she handed me my phone bill papers and said "You need to leave the store, now".
Since this experience I have been billed $648.34 for 3 (YES 3 SEPARATE) DirecTv Streaming accounts that I NEVER ordered and have NEVER used nor have I even created a Login and User ID for!!! This just tell you that my "story" about being deceived and ripped off is true! Why would anyone sign up for 3 DirecTv accounts, especially when I already have AT&T Uverse service for $170 a month? I'll tell you why, because the salesperson wanted 3 separate commissions or bonuses for charging me for services I never requested authorized or used! - marzo 12, 2022

Horrible customer service, I came to ask about activating a new 3 line account and one of the employees (he wasn't even the one helping me out) had the audacity to ask me out loud where I worked at and what my profession was, as if I had to explain myself and give him that information in order to proceed. I thought they were extremely rude and non helpful. It is very disappointing to know that they have such judge-mental and unprofessional employees in some companies. - octubre 12, 2020

I was in the Lake Mary store, I finally had to ask how the wait was. 20min. Something I should have been told, she was too busy dancing. Worst customer service ever. She needs training!!!
