AT&T Opens New Retail Store in San Antonio

Company to Donate $25 for Every Wireless Activation or Upgrade to Seton Home

San Antonio , Texas, November 29, 2011

AT&T* today announced the grand opening of a new 3,000-square-foot retail store in San Antonio to address the growing demand for advanced wireless and wired products and services. As a part of AT&T’s ongoing commitment to give back to the community, the  company will donate $25 to Seton Home for every wireless activation or upgrade with a standard two-year agreement at the new location from Thursday, December 1 through Sunday, December 4, 2011.

There will be a ribbon cutting on December 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the new store located at 8227 State Highway 151, Suite 102 San Antonio, TX, 78245. Guests will include representatives from Seton Home and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

“We are focused on making our customers’ in-store experience exceptional, and that begins with a convenient store location, simplistic layout and knowledgeable staff,” said Chris Penrose, vice president and general manager for AT&T in South Texas. “As part of the San Antonio community, we’re always looking for new opportunities to provide an enhanced customer experience and our investment in the new retail store is just one way we’re accomplishing that. Customers can try out our newest line-up of smartphones, tablets, e-readers, and even experience U-Verse when they visit this San Antonio location.  We will continue to give consumers the ability to have a hands on experience with the very latest in communications and entertainment services.”

The San Antonio store is led by Josh Grinnan along with trained staff to assist customers with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support.
