Analyst Firm Recognizes AT&T as a Leading U.S. Telecommunications Provider

AT&T Also Recognized as a Leading Provider for Managed Security Services

With more than 100 years of experience in telecommunications, AT&T* continues to offer premier services. Leading analyst firm Gartner Inc. today named AT&T a Leader in its 2011 Magic Quadrant for U.S. Telecommunications Service Providers.**

To determine positions in this Magic Quadrant, Gartner assessed nine different providers on their “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.” The analysts took into account factors such as financial stability, global reach, wireless network coverage, wireline offerings and service pricing.

According to Gartner, “Leaders have a full portfolio of voice and data products across wired and wireless technologies, with frequent offerings of combined services, coupled with average to above-average service and support, focused enterprise investment, strong sales support, competitive pricing. They lead the market in terms of technology adoption, partnerships and on-time launches. Leaders have a strong vision that includes internal and external innovation, an eye on joint ventures and partnerships, and the ability to deliver a consistent product and message.”
