AT&T Sings Fans' Praises with One-of-a-Kind Tributes

AT&T Reaches Two Million Facebook Fans and Delivers Personalized 'Thank You Note' Songs in Appreciation

Dallas, Texas, May 18, 2012

To celebrate the milestone of reaching over two million Facebook fans, AT&T* is taking two whole days to say “thank you” in the form of customized songs made about their fans.  This interactive activity will let AT&T Facebook fans who opt-in get a chance to have personalized songs written about them, based on “what makes them awesome”. The individual songs will be performed by the AT&T House Band, which is comprised of a “supergroup” of Julliard-trained members of the hit YouTube music collective “cdza”. Fans can even choose the musical genre they want their ode to be.

On May 22 and May 23, the AT&T House Band will randomly choose up to 500 people from the submissions and create custom improvised songs to thank them for their loyalty and for being fans of AT&T.  AT&T will post videos of the band performing the songs on its Facebook page, as well as YouTube channel throughout these two days so fans can tune in at anytime and hear AT&T singing their praises. For those who do not get a personalized tribute the AT&T House Band will create an epic “thank you” aria listing out the names of multiple entrants in rapid fire.
