"We are proud to support One Fund Boston through a $1 million dollar donation and by enabling customers to text a contribution from their mobile device,” said Patricia Jacobs, president, AT&T New England. “We applaud Mayor Menino and Governor Patrick for their leadership during this difficult time, and are thankful for the brave actions of the members of law enforcement. Boston is a special place, full of history, pride, and remarkable and resilient people. “As a part of the Back Bay community, our Boylston Street store team is familiar to many who live and work in the area,” said Steve Krom, vice president and general manager, AT&T New England. “I am grateful for the quick actions of our store staff and the team on the ground, who set up emergency phone call and charging stations last Monday - staying into the night to ensure that runners and spectators were able to connect with their loved ones. We are one Boston.”
AT&T’s store at 647 Boylston Street is expected to re-open in the coming days.
