Compass Aerospace Northwest Selects AT&T for New Network Services

AT&T Will Serve as Primary Network and Data Services Provider

Kent, Washington, February 28, 2007

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced a new contract in which AT&T will provide network services to Compass Aerospace Northwest, a manufacturing and logistics division of Synchronous Aerospace.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, AT&T will serve as the primary network and data services provider to Compass Aerospace Northwest, integrating AT&T Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Virtual Private Network (VPN) service at the company's headquarters in Kent, Wash., and remote distribution centers in Kansas and Arizona and in three California sites.

AT&T MPLS VPN is a fully managed network solution that will allow Compass Aerospace Northwest to take advantage of expanded bandwidth to support the company's intense eCRM application, creating a highly secure and private network that can be accessed simultaneously by all remote sites. The solution also allows Compass Aerospace to prioritize transferable data for greater network efficiency.

This solution, which aligns with AT&T's customer-focused convergence strategy, will help improve internal and external communication via the converged network, which is backed by AT&T's Internet Protocol backbone for the highest levels of reliability and redundancy.

"We needed a unified network platform to help us manage our costs and streamline our communications throughout the company," said Ekta Chopra, director of information technology at Compass Aerospace Northwest. "The network solution provided by AT&T will complement our paperless shop floor while solidifying our reputation for quick turn on critical production elements, as well as complement our ability to serve our customers with point-of-use distribution."
