MEDITECH Upgrades Conference Platform with AT&T

Boston, Massachusetts, March 15, 2007

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced an agreement to upgrade the conference platform used by Medical Information Technology, Inc. (MEDITECH), a leading software vendor in the health care informatics industry. The migration to AT&T's new audio and video Web-conference services occurs two years into a wide-ranging agreement for AT&T's networking services with MEDITECH. Specific terms of the new contract were not disclosed.

AT&T's solution allows MEDITECH to train new and prospective customers around the country and around the world through AT&T's cutting-edge Web-conferencing system. AT&T's dedicated-server architecture gives MEDITECH unmatched flexibility and control over conferencing activities while retaining the world-class security and redundancy provided by an AT&T solution.

The new conference capability will enable MEDITECH to expand the Web-based training sessions to new, current and potential clients. MEDITECH continues to reduce unnecessary travel for its staff and customers through the growth of its Online Seminar program.

"AT&T's Web-conferencing services have already proved to be an advantage for our business, enhancing our customer relationships on a daily basis," said Philip Polimeno, director of Corporate Technology Group for MEDITECH. "We are confident that this upgrade will take our interaction and communication with clients to a new level, benefiting our organization for years to come."
