AT&T Announces New Contract with MIR3 Intelligent Notification

San Diego, California, March 29, 2007

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced a new hosting services contract with San Diego-based MIR3 Intelligent Notification, Inc., a leading supplier of real-time notifications to global enterprises. Under the three-year contract, AT&T will serve as the primary services provider, bringing Enterprise hosting capabilities to MIR3 through the AT&T Internet Data Center (IDC) in San Diego.

AT&T Enterprise Hosting Services offer a rich portfolio of flexible hosting solutions that will improve overall network performance and ensure that MIR3's business-critical data and applications will be securely backed up and always accessible. This solution will support MIR3's need for expanded bandwidth, delivering an always-on infrastructure and data recovery capability that will help ensure consistent and secure application and Internet access for MIR3 customers and their critical emergency notifications.

In addition, MIR3 will be able to reliably and flexibly manage its applications in an infrastructure hosted in San Diego's AT&T IDC. AT&T Internet Data Centers are protected from intrusion and failure by multilayered security and rapid response data recovery abilities.

Aligned with AT&T's convergence strategy, the solution provided by AT&T will enable MIR3 to efficiently and reliably communicate emergency notifications to key employees within the network as well as to citizens throughout the city.

"With many Fortune 100 companies deploying on our enterprise-level notification system globally, we needed a provider capable of connecting our facilities via a high-speed fiber based network," said Dan Long, chief technology officer at MIR3. "We believe that the solution provided by AT&T will fulfill our bandwidth needs for the immediate future. This will allow us to better serve our customers' existing needs while allowing us to consider the expansion of our service offerings over the next few years."

With AT&T's reliable network platform, MIR3 will have the ability to complete approximately 100,000 calls in one hour.
