Liberty Travel Extends Contract with AT&T for Enhanced Data and Network Services

Bedminster, New Jersey, January 14, 2008

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced an extended and expanded contract with Lib/Go Travel, Liberty Travel and GOGO Worldwide Vacations, a leading travel company. Under the new three-year contract, AT&T will implement and manage Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-enabled network services — along with network resiliency solutions — for Liberty's 230-plus retail locations. The contract extends a six-year relationship between AT&T and Liberty Travel.

Using advanced MLPS technology, AT&T's Virtual Private Network (VPN) services will integrate Liberty Travel's entire base of wholesale and retail agencies under one common Internet Protocol (IP)-based architecture. As a result, Liberty Travel and its customers will benefit from improved network performance, enhanced ease of use and increased network security. Designed to provide consistency across a large network, the upgrade will help prioritize network traffic and streamline data transmission throughout Liberty Travel's managed and unmanaged locations.

"AT&T has served as a reliable, responsive and cost-effective wide area network provider for us throughout the years," said Valerian Thomas, chief information officer for Liberty Travel. "Moving to MPLS will enable Liberty to implement our Next Generation Travel System throughout North America and deliver 'simply exceptional' service to our customers. We are pleased to deepen and extend our evolving relationship with AT&T."

In addition to upgrading Liberty Travel's core network, AT&T will implement network-resiliency plans to help ensure that secure, reliable network services are available for the Liberty Travel team and its customers.
