AT&T U-verse Total Home DVR Receives TelcoTV Vision Award for Service Innovation

The TelcoTV Conference and Expo has recognized AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) with a 2008 TelcoTV Vision Award for AT&T U-verseSM Total Home DVR. The first-ever TelcoTV Vision Awards honor the most innovative and visionary new products, services and applications in the communications industry from the past year.

The Vision Award winners were announced Nov. 12 at the 2008 TelcoTV Conference and Expo in Anaheim, Calif. Total Home DVR was named the winner in the Service Provider Innovation category.

Total Home DVR allows U-verse TV customers to play back recorded Standard Definition and High Definition (HD) shows from a single DVR on any connected TV in the home. AT&T began rolling out Total Home DVR in September 2008, and it is now available to all U-verse TV customers.

Total Home DVR has received a positive response from customers since its introduction, and the TelcoTV Vision Award is the latest accolade for AT&T U-verse. AT&T U-verse TV also ranked “Highest in Residential Television Service Satisfaction in the North Central, South, and West Regions,” according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Residential Television Service Provider Satisfaction StudySM.
