CB Richard Ellis Signs Contract with AT&T to Upgrade Network

Los Angeles, California, November 18, 2008

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today that CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (CBRE) has signed a three-year contract with AT&T to upgrade its global voice and data wireline networks. Under terms of the agreement, AT&T will provide CB Richard Ellis with a complete suite of communications solutions including a new Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN), AT&T Managed Internet Service (MIS) and OneNet® service, which includes local and long distance voice services. The agreement continues CBRE's relationship with AT&T, which spans more than 16 years.

CBRE's full-service platform connects its 400 offices and 29,000 employees worldwide to help them deliver quality client service. The company sought to streamline operations and reduce costs by updating its frame relay network. AT&T worked closely with CBRE to understand specific requirements and business drivers.

AT&T will consolidate CBRE's voice and data wireline networks and upgrade its frame relay network to a managed IP VPN. AT&T IP VPN is built on an architecture that enables the merging of different types of traffic, such as voice and data, over one network. AT&T enables CBRE to prioritize mission-critical information. For example, it allows CBRE to give priority to voice over e-mail so traffic does not get interrupted. The technology transports data over the fastest route through the network.

In addition to the networking solution upgrade, CBRE also signed a two-year contract for wireless voice and data services and renewed a two-year hosting contract.
