Zeebo to Power its 3G Connected Gaming, Entertainment and Education System with AT&T Mobile Wireless Broadband

Agreement Enables Rapid Expansion to New, Emerging Markets

San Diego based Zeebo, Inc. today announced an agreement with AT&T* to provide mobile wireless broadband service for the Zeebo 3G connected digital gaming, entertainment and education system.  The agreement to wirelessly connect the system to AT&T’s network enables Zeebo to more rapidly deploy in new markets currently underserved by existing technologies. 

The Zeebo platform is currently sold in Brazil and Mexico.  Zeebo is planning for commercial opportunities in the domestic market in 2011.  Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The system is pre-loaded with connectivity, eliminating the need for a consumer to sign up for an additional service plan or contract. 

Content delivery and user interface software updates occur over a wireless network and are completely transparent to the customer. They simply plug the Zeebo into their television set and the system automatically connects to the ZeeboNet wireless network.
