What is the Affordable Connectivity Program
The ACP is a federal government program that provides a benefit on eligible broadband service for qualifying households, decreasing your bill by up to $30/mo., or up to $75/mo. off your service if you reside on qualifying Tribal lands.

After you’ve checked to see if you might be eligible, visit the federal government’s National Verifier or call 833.511.0311 to apply. AT&T doesn’t determine eligibility.

How the ACP can help you pay for AT&T PREPAID

For those who have qualified, the ACP can help provide $30 per month towards certain connectivity services, including phone and data plans from AT&T PREPAID. The amount of assistance can be as high as $75 per month for participants who live on qualified tribal lands.

AT&T PREPAID options for ACP customers

ACP customers have multiple great options from AT&T PREPAID, including our Unlimited Plus, Unlimited, and 15GB plans. In addition to phone plans, AT&T PREPAID also offers a 100GB hotspot or tablet data plan that is eligible for ACP participants.

  • What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?

  • Do I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

    You may qualify if:

    • Your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
    • You participate in a qualifying federal assistance program.
    • At least one person in the household is in the free and reduced-price lunch program or the school breakfast program (including the Community Eligibility Provision).
    • At least one person in the household has received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year. or
    • At least one person in the household can participate in their broadband provider’s existing low-income program.

  • What is National Verifier?
    The federal government’s National Lifeline Eligibility Verifier (National Verifier), managed by Universal Service Administration Company (USAC), is a centralized system that determines Lifeline and ACP program eligibility. To apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program, you can access the National Verifier by visiting ACPBenefit.org or call 833.511.0311 and request an application be mailed to you.
  • How long will it take to get a response from the National Verifier?
    The quickest way to apply is online. In some cases, response will be in a matter of minutes, but it’s possible it can take several days before you receive a response.
  • Why was my Affordable Connectivity Program National Verifier application denied?
    AT&T does not determine eligibility for the federal government Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and will not know why any participant’s application might have been denied.   • What If I live on Tribal Lands?
    Qualifying customers who live on federally recognized Tribal lands may be eligible for a Tribal discount of up to $75/mo.   • Can I get the Affordable Connectivity Program on my wireless voice service and my data service?
    No. You can only get the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) on one service (wireless phone, wireless data-only, or home Internet,) per household, not per person. And if you have multiple qualifying plans within a service type, the ACP benefit may only be applied to one of the plans. Additionally, a household can get the ACP from only one provider at a time.
