Unlock Device HELP

This message means that you are using a phone that was sold at a discount for prepaid service. Have you used it on AT&T prepaid for 6 months of paid continuous service? If the answer is yes and you are still having a problem unlocking the phone, then contact AT&T, 611 from the phone. If you have not had 6 months of continuous service with AT&T then the phone is not eligible.  Funny guy song just saying that you are eligible on your original post does not make it true.  Why are you without service?   If you want to keep your phone number you have to continuously pay to keep your phone number active so that it can be ported to a different service provider when you choose to leave.

Submitted and confirmed a device unlock request. Online status still shows Pending Confirmation

We're happy to help with information for unlocking your device @grkiran2.   If your unlock request is still pending or shows that you have not confirmed your email, please allow some additional time for the link to expire. Your unlock request will then be canceled within two business days, and you will be able to submit another wireless unlock request with our Device Unlock Portal.     Once you have confirmed the unlock request in your email, and it is still saying pending, this means your request is still under review and should allow time for your request to process. Check the general requirements to unlock your device and how they can impact your request.  The device must be designed for use on, and locked to, the AT&T wireless network.  It must not be reported lost or stolen. Your account must be active for at least 60 days, with no past due or unpaid balance. It’s not associated with fraudulent activity. All the device’s service commitments and installment plans are completed, and all early termination fees are paid in full. The device is not currently active on a different AT&T customer’s account. If you performed an early upgrade, you must wait the 14-day buyer’s remorse period before you can request to unlock your previous device. Visit our Unlock Support page for the full requirement list. If a phone is purchased from a non-AT&T authorized dealer or sites like eBay, AT&T may be unable to unlock the device. Before purchasing the device, make sure the seller performs the unlock request. In some instances, you will have to contact the seller to perform the request. If the device was purchased by another provider, they should have online resources to unlock the device. We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.    Alasani, AT&T Community Specialist

Unlocking SIM card

We're happy to shed some light on how our unlock process works, @Mohammed_ksh.    As @dwill05 mentioned, there are certain requirements your device has to meet to be carrier unlocked. We've listed a few below:  The device must be designed for use on, and locked to, the AT&T wireless network.  It must not be reported lost or stolen. If your device meets the requirements, you can proceed with submitting an unlock request.    ****Select YES if you are an AT&T Customer and enter your telephone #. Select NO if you are not an AT&T customer and enter your IMEI.   We also have a page on our community that provides solutions to FAQs on device unlock requests.   Please let us know how this information helps.   Sydne, AT&T Community Specialist
