She's Connected 2024 Grant Winner

Aneesa Getaneh founded Daisy Medical Institute to empower students, many of whom are emancipated foster youth in Los Angeles, by providing them with the necessary training and support to become Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Her vision extends beyond merely training individuals for a career - it encompasses fostering stability, resilience, and opportunity for those who have overcome challenges in life.
