You don’t have to cancel your service when you move, especially when it’s easier to just transfer your old service to your new address.

It takes only a few minutes to transfer your current service online.  Start by logging into your account. We will need to know where you’re moving to and when you’re moving. Once you tell us your preferred installation date, you will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.

If you are moving to a condo or rental home, you will need to submit a Landlord Approval Form before we can install and activate your service.

Of course! You can upgrade or change your U-verse TV, Internet and Home Phone current service when placing your move order online.

If you have U-verse TV, Internet or Home phone, activation fees are waived depends on your current service plan. If there is an activation fee, it would be the same as when you had your service installed the first time.

For DIRECTV customers, a new 12-month term is required for service at new address. Equipment upgrades require a new 24-month commitment. EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF
$20/MO. FOR EACH MONTH REMAINING ON AGREEMENT, EQUIPMENT NON-RETURN & ADD’L FEES MAY APPLY.

 

Take your receivers, remotes and owner’s manual with you. When the technician arrives to set up your transferred service, he’ll take back what isn’t needed. However, if you have a DIRECTV dish, leave it installed at your old address.

If you’re transferring U-verse TV service, a technician must visit your new address. However, you may be able to install U-verse internet and phone service yourself. When moving DIRECTV service, a technician will deliver and professionally install a new satellite dish at your new home.

If you take your old DVR with you then the same recorded programs will be there, ready to watch, once your transferred service is connected.
