Call Waiting lets you receive an incoming call when you're already engaged in a conversation on your wireless phone. After a notification, you can put the first call on hold and answer the second call. You can also decide not to accept the second call and route it to voicemail. You will incur airtime and any applicable long distance and roaming charges for both calls simultaneously.
Call Forwarding lets you forward your incoming wireless calls to another phone number. With Call Forwarding activated, you can continue to make outgoing calls from your wireless device. Forwarded calls are billed airtime from the time the call is answered until it is ended. Each call forwarded may receive, depending on your location, per-minute/per-call charges based on where the call is forwarded. Long distance charges apply if the call is forwarded to a long distance number.
Caller ID (or Caller Identification) lets you know who's calling before you answer by displaying the caller's phone number on your phone's display. Caller ID is included automatically with all AT&T wireless rate plans.
With Basic Voicemail service, callers can leave you a voicemail when you're unavailable, and your device will display a special message waiting icon to alert you. Basic Voicemail includes a mailbox capacity of 20 messages, a maximum 2-minute message length, and message storage of 14 days.
