You can implement Business Messaging by accessing the feature through the AT&T Web-based Business Notification Center or by combining the feature with applications your organization already uses.

Quick Communication

Get quick two-way communication from your field workers' mobile devices with Business Messaging. Connect to the AT&T network and send group notifications as text messages.

How It Works

  • Install the Business Messaging feature on each recipient's AT&T mobile device.
  • Set up your messaging software (such as Microsoft® Outlook) to point to an AT&T Business Messaging address. (Our Web-based interface requires an Unlimited Access plan.)
  • Add recipients and set up group lists.
  • Create your message, select recipients, and send your message.

Delivery Confirmation

Getting delivery confirmation is easy. Simply request confirmation, and the service will automatically post the receipt back to the Business Messaging gateway for retrieval.

Using Business Messaging protocols, you can send messages with up to 1,000 characters.

Advanced Response Options

Set up preconfigured response options that let you quickly send standard replies at the touch of a button.


Set up service redundancy using either dial-up TAP messaging protocol or the Business Notification Center, which requires the Unlimited Access plan.

Spam Filters

Set up Business Messaging to filter email messages. Add approved domain names to a list, and the Business Messaging spam filter blocks messages from all unlisted domain names.
