Rates Based on Call Type

Long distance rates are based on volume of usage and call type (based on where the call originates or terminates):

  • The Switched rate applies to calls originated from (outbound) or terminated on (inbound) access that is NOT owned by AT&T.
  • The Loyalty rate applies to calls originated from (outbound) or terminated on (inbound) access provided by AT&T.
  • The Dedicated/Mobile Termination rate applies to calls originating (outbound) or terminating (inbound) at AT&T dedicated access facilities.
  • To provide benefit to customers purchasing an AT&T wireless contract, calls made from ABN locations to eligible AT&T wireless business phones receive the dedicated rate, regardless of what type of access was used to originate the call.

Rates

Minimum annual revenue commitment (MARC) is an annual commitment you agree to satisfy during each 12-consecutive-month period of your service term. The MARC is set forth in your contract (Pricing Schedule) with AT&T and may provide volume or term commitment benefits.
When you establish service, AT&T needs to know your minimum annual revenue commitment (MARC) in order to bill you correctly and to provide you with additional monthly rewards enabling you to enjoy higher discount levels. Selection of a monthly spending commitment is based on the monthly usage you anticipate for your business. Average monthly spending is based on an overall yearly spend commitment divided by 12.
