AT&T Store Overland Park Overland Pk

Helped me transfer SIM cards when I broke my other phone Back In June 3rd 2020 the day that I got my IPhone SE and helped me transfer my data to my IPhone SE. You guys need to train your employees. This store is very unprofessional and they don’t know what they talk about a phone product or paying a phone bill. I wanted to send this feedback cause this store is very unprofessional. For now on I’ll go to the store off of 135th and Metcalf over in Corbin Park

My experience today at this store was traumatizing to say the least. I went into the store hoping to upgrade my phone after 4 years on a trade-in deal. I settled on a new phone, the "assistant manager" did her work, told me I needed to pay for taxes upfront, which I proceeded to do. After charging my card the $116 and signing the agreement. She asked for my trade in phone, determined it was not worth the $700 (as advertised). I then told the assistant manager that I did not want to buy the new phone then and to CANCEL the deal. After returning home, I checked my account, She did not refund my $116 and my at&t account showed I purchased the $!099 new phone. I called the store and they said I "didn't ask for a refund". While processing my refund they said I then owed them $68 "restocking" fee for a new phone I never received, or touch! I had to call another corporate store manager to plead my case and get my refund without a restocking fee. When I asked for real manager or owner the 2 sales associates said they didn't have one. These sales associates are scamming people and taking advantage of the community! I ADVICE TO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE! I am grateful for "Justin" at the Corporate store to fix it rightfully.

In short-I'd rather burn my %#@&$ than step foot in this store again. Other than one employee (Nick) who seemed to be doing as best one could against a surreal level of poor management, organizational ineptitude, and utter failure in the basic systems as paying for a product, I've never in my life seen such absolute incompetence in basic customer service and managing their products. We spent over six (6) hours in the store over two days, waiting for them to simply process our new phones and service contract-with it still uncertain whether our first bill will actually reflect what we were told. Seriously-until (if) they get their act together, stay away.

I had a similar negative experience as a previous customer who wrote a review here. The store employee basically lied to me and told me I was eligible for a trade-in discount for my old phone. He told me the discount would not be applied for 2 or 3 billing cycles. But he said, and I paraphrase, "if the trade-in phone works, you'll get the discount." Three bills later and I still don't have the discount. Att said earlier today when I called that I'm actually not eligible for their discount because I don't have an unlimited plan. This is very frustrating because the employee assured me I was eligible. I absolutely wouldn't have bought the new phone if I would have known I wouldn't receive the discount. By the way, they took my old phone and I haven't gotten it back. So even though I'm apparently not eligible for a discount, they didn't send my old phone back, and they lied by saying that I was eligible for the discount in the first place, apparently because they wanted the sale/commission. Also, they originally charged me for the wrong/more expensive phone which required me to wait there for two hours while they tried to fix their mistake. This store is unbelievably shady. Do not shop there.
