    I had been an AT&T customer for 6 years.

    Last night, AT&T cancelled my account suddenly. I woke with no service on my phone, tried login to my account and even that failed. After waiting for close to an hour to reach someone at customer care and transferred from one team to another, I finally got connected with a supervisor who asked me to go to a store as they can't help me over phone. It's a mystery no one could solve..why my account was cancelled suddenly?

    I walked into the poplar towers store hoping to find help. But the lady who was the store/floor manager, changed my mind. She was a perfect example of what customer service shouldn't be. Extremely rude in her tone, showed no interest to help, her solution to my problem was "call the customer service" for help. We can't help you at the store (really, corporate store and they can't provide me any help??) When I told her I did call customer service before coming to the store and they only asked me to reach out to someone at store, she insisted to verify if I indeed made that call and wanted me to do it again from the store as a proof. Wow, will I lie about calling AT&T customer service of all the things in the world???

    Horrible experience. I wish I could remove the AT&T sim and throw it away in trash in front of them. But the, I am not like the store manager to behave irrationally.

    I left the store and hopefully will never return to AT&T again.

    I couldn't catch the name of the manager but if someone from AT&T is reading this review, you should know that you failed miserably in customer service. Teach your staff respect and courtesy, especially if you claim to hold the tag of a manager.

    My recommendation would be to NEVER go to this store if you are in need of help. I will not recommend AT&T to anyone and glad that I am no longer their customer.

    Incredible service. Ended up getting more deals than we expected. Tashuna and Anthony were not only incredible in service, but also very informative on deals, prices, and services for AT&T. We felt so taken care of.

    July 22nd, Store Manager, James Hardaway, listened attentively and took immediate action to resolve what turned out to be a very complicated and time consuming issue for my senior citizen friend. He did everything he could then dealt with Corporate to further clear up items the system would not reset. We left the store with peace of mind and thankfulness for this young man who went above and beyond. My friend felt nice to be treated like a valued customer.

    That thing sales person that yelled at me . His i mean it’s name is Anthony! My advice to the upper management,Would be to replace this person because this is not the first time I’ve had experience with him ! He was not even waiting on me he had a customer of his own gotten to my business started yelling at me making false accusations against me and nobody did anything to help me! This store has lazy people working at it that do not want to take the extra time to help people that need help with purchasing a phone. I just merely want it my password changed that was the only way that I could get a new phone ask for help the sales person that was supposed to help me got up and walked away so he can socialize with Other employees! As for that thing Anthony that was yelling at me he had no business yelling at me the way he did it got my blood pressure up it made me sick for the rest of the day I had to drive further away to a different AT&T store to make my purchase and I got treated the way I should have been treated. This is not the way you are supposed to treat customers. If they don’t like their job maybe they need one that they will be happy with! I did not hear any outcome of Now this would be addressed nobody contacted me! The other AT&T store that I purchased my phone from, said that they have heard nothing but complaints about the store a Poplar and Kirby So obviously the problem is still existing and nothing is being done about the lazy workers that did not want to take their time to help people. They just want you to walk in by phone walk out no questions asked! When I called the 800 number the Agent on the phone was a supervisor said that they could hear Anthony yelling at me and he should not be raising his voice to me like that he was yelling so loud that the agent couldn’t hear me I had to go into my car and the agent help me reset my password which they should have done in the store to begin with! I would not recommend anyone to go to the store it’s horrible!

    I had a horrible experience at this store !I went into the store to purchase an upgrade on my phone. When I walked in a sales person came up to me sat down with me I explain to him that I could not remember my password could he help me reset it he replied “no I cannot help you with that if you do not remember your password we cannot help you reset it you will have to keep
    Your old phone He said have to call the 800 number from apple.com. He then proceeded to give me the phone number and I called the customer service number from the apple.com. I asked Agent numerous times if he could help me and he said no he would not do it gave me the number for Apple got up and started to socialize with some of the other workers. There was a sales person or sales thing that was sitting next to me that had his own customer Listening to my conversation .I called the 800 number spoke to an agent and explain to them that my sales person would not help me reset my password for my iCloud and the sales person on the phone said there’s no reason why they cannot help you reset it but I will help you. So as I was talking to the agent on the phone I told the agent I think all the sales people here want to do is get people to buy phones from them and not give them the extra help that they need or asked for. There was a very Loudmouth sales person next to me that already had a customer he was Supposedly helping. He started to yell at me, Raising his voice at me listening to me speak to the agent on the phone about trying to get help resetting my password. He was making false accusations against me he was loud talking to the point where the agent that was on the phone could not hear me and told me that that sales person should not be talking to me that way and definitely should not be yelling at me. I guess he wanted to make a scene so everybody would look. I asked the agent to stop Yelling at me numerous times and he Would not stop! I would give this store zero stars !I had to go to my car so I could hear the agent on the phone and he helped me reset my password which the sales person in the AT&T store should have done !I have been to the store before and that same sales person that Yelled at me is lazy much like a sloth does not want to move around much! He just wants customers to buy a phone and leave .quick sale no customer service ! I guess when you tell the truth it gets them upset but it is what it is and they are horrible sales people !I’ve never had anybody yell at me like that thing did ! I would not recommend anybody to go to this store because if you need any little extra help, they will do as little as They can because they would rather socialize with each other then help the customers. They want you to walk in buy phone don’t ask questions and leave! I had to drive a little bit further but I did end up purchasing a cell phone from another AT&T store and they treated me like I should have been treated they were very good to me and I will continue to do my business with them and send customers to them as well. The store that I purchased my new phone from which was not this one, told me they’ve heard a lot of complaints about the store on Poplar and Kirby. I am not the first person that has complained about them so obviously there is a problem and it has not been solved. This is by far the worst AT&T store in Memphis! If anyone wants good service and customer care do not go to this store. They do not value their customers only the Sales commission that they get out of the customer! As for that sales person thing that was yelling at me, the person on the phone could not hear me he said that that sales person has no business yelling at me like that! He said that I should report him and I did! There is no excuse for this behavior!
