Transfer Billing Responsibility

Transferring billing responsibility changes ownership and financial responsibility for a U-verse account.

Note: Review the requirements before you proceed.

Help If you have an AT&T Access ID, enter it; otherwise, use your Member ID which is the AT&T email address you received when you registered for U-verse service.
Help Enter the password you provided when you set up your online account.

Requirements for Transferring an Account

The account you're transferring must not be past due. The new owner of the account must meet these requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Complete a credit evaluation when accepting the transfer. (The new owner may be required to pay a deposit.)
  • Accept the remaining contract term from the date of the transfer (if applicable)
