Detailed light info
Review this PDF to get all info related to the lights on your BGW320 All-Fi Hub.
Status light
The color and state of your status light lets you know the status of your All-Fi Hub. If your status light is:
- White (solid): The hub is online.
- Red (solid): Your hub is either overheating or has a hardware issue. Make sure it’s on a flat surface with open space around it. Then try a restart.
- Red (blinking slow): There’s an issue with your network. First check your cables. Then, press and hold the reset button for ten seconds. If that doesn’t help, check for outages at att.com/outages.
- Yellow (blinking fast): One of your voice lines has a problem.
- Blue (solid): The hub is in internet backup mode.
WPS light
This light helps you identify the pairing process with other devices on your Wi-Fi network. If the light is:
- Green (blinking slow): The hub is ready to pair with a device with WPS.
- Red (blinking fast): The hub has too many devices trying to pair or it’s restarting.
- Red (solid): WPS pairing failed. You can try again or connect with your Wi-Fi® name and password.

Get your Wi-Fi name and password to connect devices to your network:
- All-Fi Hub: Look for a sticker with your Wi-Fi name and password.
- QR code: Use your mobile device to automatically connect devices to your hub.
- Smart Home Manager: Open Smart Home Manager and look for My Wi-Fi.
Change Wi-Fi name

- Scroll to the My Wi-Fi card and choose Change next to the name or password.
- Select X to clear existing info, then enter a new name or password.
- Select Save.
Once you finish making changes, reconnect your devices with the updated network info.
FYI: You can also update your Wi-Fi from your All-Fi Hub settings.
Manage Wi-Fi security
Your hub comes with the security On and set to WPA-2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access II). If you or someone else turned the security Off, learn how to turn it back on.
- Go to your All-Fi Hub settings.
- Select Home Network, then Wi-Fi.
- Enter the Device Access Code on your hub.
- Select Advanced Options.
- Do the following for all Wi-Fi configuration sections:
- To use the default password, select WPA – Default Password from the Security options.
- To use a custom password or a password you changed, choose WPA from the Security options.
- In the WPA Version section, select WPA-2 for maximum compatibility.
- Enter a new 10-character password. Use a longer or more complex password for better security.
- Select Save.
- Update your Wi-Fi devices with your new password info.
FYI: Each of your radio bands may have different network names and passwords. For the best Wi-Fi experience, we recommend you use the same Wi-Fi network name and password for all radios.
Hide Wi-Fi info
Important: Before following these steps, be sure to store your Wi-Fi network name and password in a safe location. You’ll have to manually enter them after your network name is hidden. Then, choose your equipment type to get detailed instructions.
- Go to your All-Fi Hub settings.
- Select Home Network, then Wi-Fi.
- Enter the Device Access Code on your hub.
- Select Home Network, then Wi-Fi.
- Select Continue.

- Scroll to the 2.4Hz Radio or 5.0Hz Radio section.
- Next to Hide Network Name, choose On from the dropdown.
- Select Save.
MAC address filtering
Set up your All-Fi Hub so that it only connects to devices by MAC address. This makes your connections more secure. When you turn on MAC address filtering, only devices that you select can connect to your network.
FYI: Make sure you have the MAC address for each device you want to access your Wi-Fi home network. Every device will have its own process to find its MAC address. Check your service documentation or manufacturer’s website for detailed instructions.
- Go to your All-Fi Hub settings.
- Select Home Network, then MAC Filtering.
- Enter the Device Access Code from your hub.
- Go to the MAC Filtering section and select Enabled for the radio you want to turn on MAC Filtering.
- In MAC Filter Entry, either:
- Select your devices’ MAC addresses
- Enter the MAC address in the Manual Entry field (repeat as needed)
- Choose Add.
- Select Save.
Port forwarding
Important: Use port forwarding with caution. It may allow others to access devices in your home without your knowledge.
- Go to your All-Fi Hub settings.
- Select the Firewall tab.
- Enter the Device Access Code on your hub.
- Select NAT/Gaming. Get a warning message? Go to the AT&T Port Forwarding tool to enable port forwarding on your account. Then, you can continue with these steps.
- Open the Service dropdown, then select the application for port forwarding. If your application isn't in the list, or you are setting up port forwarding for a device:
- Select Custom Services.
- Enter the name for the application or device in the Service Name.
- Enter the ports you want to open for Global Port Range. We recommend that you create a separate service entry for each port rather than using a port range. In this case, the port number should be the same in the Global Port Range fields.
- Enter the port number in Base Host Port used for the first Global Port Range.
- Choose the appropriate Protocol from the dropdown for the application or device you are adding.
- Select Add.
- Complete for any other applications or devices.
- Select Return to NAT/Gaming. Your new applications or devices will display in the Applications list.
- Open the Needed by Device dropdown, then choose the device name or IP address of the device to open the port.
- Select Add.
- Wait for your selection to display in Hosted Applications, then select Save.
