Anyone you invite to your Multi-Line account must have AT&T Prepaid service with a basic phone or smartphone plan.
FYI: Members can’t see your AT&T Prepaid account details, including any Customer Proprietary Network Info.

We suggest waiting until the day before your plan renews before joining a Multi-Line account.
FYI: If you join a Multi-Line account, you consent to the disclosure of your AT&T Prepaid account info to the owner of the account you’re joining. This includes any Customer Proprietary Network Info. You can restrict disclosure of your details by declining to join or by leaving the Multi-Line Account.

Only Multi-Line account owners can change plans.
Good to know: We’ll prorate the data allotment for the new plan based on the number of days left in the Multi-Line term. We suggest changing plans the day before it renews.

We’ll send the member a text message letting them know of the change. They’ll have the same plan and expiration date they had with the Multi-Line plan. They'll also be responsible for paying the full, undiscounted monthly plan charge going forward.

Once the line’s removed, the account owner loses any associated discounts for that line and won’t have to pay for it.
