Keep your contact email up-to-date so you don’t miss online payment receipts or other notices.


Learn how to update your email address

  1. Go to your account profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Choose Account info and select Edit next to your email.
  3. Follow the prompts to make your updates.
  4. Check your inbox for a verification email. Don’t see an email? Make sure you check your spam or junk folder.

Good to know: If you have Wireless Account Lock turned on, you won’t be able to update your email address. Learn how to turn off Wireless Account Lock

Update your billing contact email separately

The email address for your AT&T ID works differently than your billing contact email. Receipts for online payments go to your AT&T ID email. All other billing info goes to your billing contact email. This includes paperless bills and receipts for payments not made online.

Assign a wireless number to your user ID

Have a wireless account? You can assign your wireless number to your AT&T ID. This lets you recover your ID or reset your password by text if you ever forget them.  Learn how to manage the wireless number for your user ID
