A household refers to the physical address where you stream HBO Max. You can only have one household for your account.

FYI: If you’re traveling, you can let us know when you sign in. But, if you say you’re traveling too many times or update your household too often, your account may may be temporarily locked.

Only the AT&T wireless account owner gets access to HBO Max. If you’re the account owner, follow the prompts to choose Home or Traveling.

If you’re using someone else’s HBO Max account, you’ll be prompted to set up your own account to keep streaming.

These AT&T Wireless plans give you access to HBO Max at no extra charge.
FYI: Some plans require you to activate HBO Max in your AT&T account. Plus, if you change plans, you’ll lose your HBO Max benefit and won’t be able to get back on a plan that includes the benefit.

If you purchased Internet 1000, 2000, or 5000 within these date ranges, you received access to HBO Max at no extra charge.

FYI: This promotion ended for AT&T Fiber on June 5, 2022. If you move your service or change your plan, you’ll lose your HBO Max benefit.

If you’re signing in for the first time, select Connect to Provider and choose AT&T. Then, sign in with the AT&T ID and password for the AT&T service that gives you access to HBO Max. Don’t worry, if you enter the ID for the wrong service, we’ll email you a hint.
