Protection plan choices

Choose the protection plan for you:
  • DIRECTV® Protection Plan protects all DIRECTV devices and offers an equipment upgrade every 2 years1 (requires a renewed 24-month agreement).
  • DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier2 includes everything in the DIRECTV Protection Plan. It also covers old and new entertainment devices. This includes LCD TVs, LED TVs, plasma TVs, tablets, laptops, and computers.
  • DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier with Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH)2 covers everything in the premier plan, plus accidental damage. This includes drops, spills, and cracked screens for laptops and tablets. It doesn’t cover Apple TV®, Amazon Fire Stick, Chromecast, or other streaming players.

Add a protection plan

  1. Go to DIRECTV Protection Plans to review options.
  2. Sign in to your myAT&T account overview and choose My DIRECTV.
  3. Select Manage package & equipment.
  4. Scroll to Protection Plans, select your plan of choice and then Continue.
  5. Review your changes and Submit.
