Receiver error

If you see error code 761 or 762, your receiver may not be reading its access card correctly. Troubleshooting instructions vary based on whether the code appeared while watching live TV or a recorded program. Please see below for both options.

Error message while watching DVR
  1. Press EXIT on your remote control to stop the playback of the recorded show.
  2. Tune to the same channel the show was on.

If the code isn't displayed, it was likely an error that occurred during recording.

Solution 1: Check your receiver's access card
  1. Open the access card door on the front panel of your receiver and remove the access card.
  2. Reinsert the access card. The chip should be facing down with the logo or picture facing up. On some receiver models, the access card slot is on the right side of the receiver.
