Refresh your DIRECTV channels and service

Find out how to restore missing channels by refreshing your DIRECTV equipment.

ArticleDETAILED STEPS
Use myAT&T or the myAT&T app to refresh your equipment. Don’t have the app? Get it now. Text and data rates may apply for download and use.
  1. Go to Account overview and select My DIRECTV.
  2. Choose Manage my plan then Manage and learn about equipment.
  3. Select Refresh receiver.
  4. Wait 5 minutes. Your DIRECTV service may be interrupted during the refresh process.

After 5 minutes, if refreshing didn’t fix the problem, try restarting your receiver. Learn how to reset your DIRECTV receiver.
