You can still get DIRECTV®
service if you rent. Have your landlord sign the Landlord Approval Letter before your installation appointment.
- Click on Landlord Approval Letter (PDF, 107KB). A copy of the letter opens in a new window.
- Print out the letter. Page one is the English version, and page two is the Spanish version.
- Read through the letter and deliver it to your landlord for approval. If the landlord doesn't approve of the installation, have the landlord write an explanation why in the letter. Contact customer service for help with a landlord installation denial.
- Have a signed letter ready for the technician before an installation appointment. The technician can’t install DIRECTV without a signed Landlord Approval Letter.
