If the error message is still appearing, unplug your HDTV, receiver, and HDMI cables, and then plug them back in.
- Disconnect the HDMI cable from your receiver and HDTV.
- Turn off your receiver and HDTV.
- Unplug your receiver and HDTV.
- Reconnect the HDMI cable to your receiver and TV firmly, pushing them all the way in.
- Plug in your receiver and HDTV.
- Turn on your receiver and HDTV.
If the error message is still appearing, try the following:
- If possible, repeat the steps above using a different HDMI input on your HDTV.
- If available, repeat the steps above using a different HDMI cable.
- If you are using an HDMI switch or AVR, try connecting the receiver directly to the HDTV.
- If available, repeat the steps above using a different HDTV.
