How to get online with Genie HD DVR

Connecting your Genie HD DVR to the Internet gives you access to OnDemand content, Rewind features, and more. To connect your Genie HD DVR, you need the following:
  • Wireless router or gateway connected to your home Internet service.
  • An Internet connection speed of at least 750Kbps. We recommend 2Mbps or higher. If you're unsure of your Internet speed, you can test it using the AT&T Internet Speed Test.
  • HD DVR Genie HR44, HR54, or Genie 2 model. To check your Genie model, press and hold INFO on your remote until the Info & Test screen appears on your TV. The receiver model number is next to Receiver. If you have model HR20, HR21, HR22, HR23, HR24, HR34, or R22, follow these instructions.
