Get your account passcode info

Use a passcode to manage your DIRECTV, U-verse TV, internet, or digital phone account – even if it’s combined with your wireless account.

Heads up: Have a wireless account that isn't combined with another AT&T service? If so, you have a separate wireless account passcode. Learn about the passcode for your wireless account

About your account passcode

You chose your account passcode when you signed up for DIRECTV, U-verse TV, internet, or digital phone service. You’ll use this 4-digit number to:
  • Complete your internet or U-verse TV installation
  • Manage your account and services by phone
  • Get tech support or request a repair
Good to know: Your account passcode differs from the password you use to sign in.

Change your passcode

If you forgot your passcode or just want to change it, here’s what to do:
  1. Go to Profile.
  2. Select Sign-in info.
  3. Select Get a new passcode in the account passcode section. Have more than 1 service? Choose the one you want to update.
  4. Follow the prompts to finish up.
Tip: Make sure your new passcode is a 4-digit number that isn’t the last 4 of your SSN.
