DIRECTV options and equipment for travelers

You can receive most DIRECTV® programming in your car, RV, boat, or airplane. There are different packages and equipment options for vehicle and travel needs.

Cars, minivans, SUVs, and RVs on the go
Keep your passengers happy with the best sports, entertainment, news, and family television. Ready to hit the road? All you need is a mobile receiver and a subscription to one of our packages. Contact KVH Industries, Winegard, or KING (for tailgating) to find a retailer in your area.

If the vehicle is on the move and you are using mobile equipment, you may not be able to order movies or Pay Per View. Also, some local channels are not available when you’re away from home.

Parked RVs and boats
If the RV or boat isn’t on the move, like an RV Park or a boat dock, you may have another option. You could install a DIRECTV system as you have at home. For more information, call DIRECTV at 800.288.2020.

DIRECTV for your boat
Bring DIRECTV to the dock, lake, or seashore to enjoy the best mix of sports, movies, and family programming. Packages include over 185 channels, including sports in HD and premium movies channels.

Contact a distributor to order a receiver: KVH Industries, Winegard, or Intellian.

DIRECTV for your airplane
In-flight packages of news, sports, music, and movies are available. Contact a distributor to order a receiver: Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, or Satcom Direct.

Heads up: Most standard satellite dishes are installed by a technician. If the positioning of your dish needs to be corrected, please visit DIRECTV's Dish Pointer for assistance.
