Disable your AT&T email account

Find out how to disable an AT&T email address if it's connected to a paid AT&T service.

Important info

  • You can disable your AT&T email address if it's been over 30 days since you canceled or disconnected a paid AT&T service.
  • You can’t disable your AT&T email address if it’s associated with an active AT&T service.
  • Disabling a Member ID will disable any subaccounts created with that account.

How to disable your email account

  1. Go to your account profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Look for Subaccounts, and expand the section for the email address you want to disable.
  3. Select Disable account.

Tip: If you want to enable your account, follow the same steps and select Re-enable account.

If you don’t see the option to disable your account and it’s been 61 days or more since cancelling or disconnecting your service, please contact us.
