[Bill & account](https://www.att.com/support/my-account/) # Cancel wireless service or remove a line Learn how to remove a wireless line from your account or cancel service. * * * ## What to know before you cancel wireless service. __Heads up:__ If you cancel in the middle of a bill period, you're responsible for the entire period. It won't be prorated based on your cancel date. __If you have an installment plan__ The remaining unpaid installment balance is due immediately when you cancel the line linked to the plan. The balance will appear on your final bill.
