Make an AT&T Prepaid payment

Learn how to make an online payment or pay by phone for your AT&T Prepaid account.


Set up your AT&T Prepaid account

First time signing in to your AT&T Prepaid® account? Here’s how to set up your account:

  1. Go to the account registration page.
  2. Select Prepaid Wireless.
  3. Enter your 10-digit AT&T wireless number to get a temporary password.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your online profile.
  5. Select Manage Prepaid account to create your account PIN and set up an answer to a security question.

Credit card, debit card, or checking account

There’s a $10 minimum payment for debit and credit cards.

  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account.
  2. Select Manage Prepaid account, then Make a Payment.
  3. Choose credit card, debit card, or checking account, and select Pay.
  4. Enter the amount you want to pay and select Continue.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

AT&T Prepaid card

  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account.
  2. Select Manage Prepaid account, then Make a Payment.
  3. Scroll to AT&T Prepaid Refill Card and enter the Prepaid PIN from the back of the card.
  4. Select Continue. You'll see a payment confirmation.

Pay without signing in

  1. Select the Quick pay icon on the AT&T Prepaid page.
  2. Enter an amount and the AT&T Prepaid number, then select Continue.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the payment.

AutoPay

Set up AutoPay for automatic payments. AutoPay can save you up to $15 per month on an AT&T Prepaid unlimited monthly plan.

FYI: When you make a payment, your address (or where you bought the refill card or PIN receipt) determines taxes and any extra charges. Taxes may change without prior notice.

Text to pay

Have a debit or credit card saved to your account? Just text the word PAY to 7777 to make a payment.

Want to add a card? Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account.
  2. Select Manage Prepaid account, then Profile & settings.
  3. Choose Payment options, then New credit or debit card.
  4. Enter your card details and select Add card.

Use our automated phone service

Call 611 from your AT&T Prepaid phone or call 800.901.9878 from another phone.

FYI: There’s a $5 convenience fee to pay by automated phone system or with an agent. This applies to one-time credit, debit, eCheck, PayPal®, or AT&T Prepaid Refill card payments.

  1. Say Payment at the main menu.
  2. Select Make a payment.
  3. Choose either debit card or credit card.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

Use Star Services

Dial *888* + PIN number + # (for example, *888*1234567899874#). We’ll confirm that your payment (refill) was applied to your account.
