Block calls and text messages using built-in phone features
To find out if your phone has a built-in feature to block calls and text messages:
  1. Go to Device Support and select your phone to complete these steps.
  2. Using the search box at the top of the page, search by typing block
  3. Select the applicable tutorial from the search results. If no tutorials are available for your phone, check with the device manufacturer for further assistance or check out other options below.

Block calls using AT&T Call Protect app
With AT&T Call Protect you can block calls from an unlimited amount of numbers for up to 30 days. If you want to continue to block those calls beyond that time, you can renew those numbers using the app. AT&T Call Protect will automatically block fraud calls and warn you about suspected spam calls. Other ways to stop unwanted calls and texts

Add your number to the Do Not Call Registry
Add your number to the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) National Do Not Call Registry to opt out of receiving most telemarketing calls.

How to report spam text messages
Don't respond directly to a spam message, doing so alerts the spammer that your number is genuine. Instead, report the spam message. Send the message on your wireless phone to 7726 (SPAM) so that we can start an investigation.

Messages forwarded to 7726 are free. They don't count toward your text plan.
