Reboot your Wi-Fi gateway

Learn how to reboot your gateway to get your internet up and running.


Do it yourself

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Wi-Fi® gateway. If you have an internal battery backup, make sure to remove it.
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Replace the internal battery if you have one, and then plug the power cord back in.
  4. Wait for the gateway to come back on and your Broadband light to blink green. (It can take up to 10 minutes.)

Once your gateway is back up, reconnect your devices.

Use Smart Home Manager

Have your user ID and password handy, then:
  1. Go to or the Smart Home Manager app.
  2. Select Reboot Wi-Fi Gateway.
