If you have a disability and traditional home phone service, you may qualify for an operator and directory assistance exemption.

We know that local directory and operator assistance can be helpful. We’re happy to:
  • Give you an exemption for local directory assistance calls.
  • Waive the operator surcharge on operator-assisted calls.
To find out if you qualify and apply, download the application. To get more info or to order forms by mail, call the AT&T Disability and Aging Center. Our hours are 9 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. ET Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET Saturday.
