Call Waiting is included for free with your phone service. It lets you take another call while you’re already on the phone. A special tone will indicate an incoming call. If your phone has caller ID, the number of the incoming caller display.
Answer a waiting call
- Press the Flash button to put the first call on hold.
- To return to the first call or switch back and forth between the calls, press the Flash or Hang Up button.
Turn Call Waiting on or off
- Turn off: Press *370# from your home phone.
- Turn on: Press *371# from your home phone.
Disable for a single call
If you’d like to turn Call Waiting off for only one call:
- Press *70 to temporarily disable Call Waiting before dialing the number.
- Enter the number you want to call
- Press # to initiate the call.
Once you hang up, Call Waiting will turn back on automatically.
Disable during a call
- Press the Flash or Hang Up button, putting your call on hold.
- Dial *70# to temporarily disable Call Waiting.
- Press the Flash or Hang Up button again to return to your call.
Once you hang up, Call Waiting will turn back on automatically.
