Activate your new user ID

Get quick online access to your account with your ID. You can sign in to check your order status, pay your bill, stream TV, track usage, and more.


What to know about your new ID

If you created an ID when your internet was set up, your ID’s already activate. Otherwise, be on the lookout for two emails from us. You’ll need the info in these emails to sign in. One email will contain your ID info, and the other will have your temporary password. Can’t find the emails? We can help you find your ID or reset your password.

After you activate the ID we email to you, you can change your ID to something that’s easy to remember. Keep in mind, new IDs have to be active email addresses.

Activate your user ID

  1. Go to the myAT&T sign-in page.
  2. Sign in with the ID and temporary password we sent you.
  3. Choose a permanent password for your new ID. 
  4. Review and accept the AT&T User ID Terms & Conditions. If you have AT&T Internet, you may have to complete some additional steps.
