Request secondary online access to an account

If you already have an ID

  1. Go to Profile and then Sign-in info
  2. Scroll to My linked accounts, then select Link another account.
  3. Enter your AT&T phone number or account number and your billing ZIP Code.
  4. Choose from these options:
    • Select My name isn’t on the bill but I want account access now if you know the details for the account. You may have to provide a verification code to confirm you can access the account.
    • Select Request access from the account owner and enter your email address. We’ll contact the account owner, and they’ll have to approve your request for secondary access.

Heads up: Did you select Request access from the account owner? Once the account owner approves, be sure to accept the offer for secondary online access.

  • Secondary access users can do most of the same things online as the person with primary access.
  • Several people on an account can have secondary access.
  • Your user ID may have primary online access to some accounts and secondary access to others.
