Approve a request for secondary online access

If you get an email that someone you trust is requesting access to your account, learn how to approve their request in myAT&T.

Give someone secondary access to your account

  1. Review the email you received about a request for secondary online access to your account.
  2. If you trust the request, select the Sign in button in the email.
  3. Sign in with your ID and password.
  4. Go to the account you want to give access to and select Offer access via email. For internet or home phone, select the Billing telephone number.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to give access to, and select Continue.

Good to know: The requester has to accept your offer for secondary online access to complete the process.
