What to know

AT&T Turbo^TM is an optional add-on for AT&T Prepaid®.

AT&T Turbo¹ performance data gives you enhanced wireless data connectivity for real-time responsiveness and smoother gameplay on the AT&T network. It doesn’t provide extra data, and its benefits don’t apply to messaging, voice, roaming data, or Wi-Fi® connections.

Eligibility info

To add AT&T Turbo to your prepaid line, you need to have the AT&T Prepaid $75 Unlimited MAX Plus plan. Then you can pick the right Turbo add-on for you.

Get the AT&T Prepaid $75 Unlimited MAX Plus plan

To add Turbo to your AT&T Prepaid® wireless number, you’ll need a 5G smartphone with the $75 Unlimited MAX Plus plan (unlimited high-speed data + 35GB hotspot data).

To change your prepaid plan to Unlimited MAX Plus, sign in to att.com/myPrepaid and select Plans. Below Unlimited MAX Plus, select Change to this plan, and then follow the steps provided.

How do I add AT&T Turbo to my prepaid line?

There are three ways to get Turbo on your prepaid line:

Sign in at att.com/myprepaid and select Add-Ons. Choose the AT&T Turbo add-on that you want.
Visit any AT&T retail store and ask for help adding AT&T Turbo to your prepaid line.
Dial 611 from your prepaid phone to request the Turbo add-on that you want.

Yes. Your plan’s Video Management option still applies automatically, even if you add AT&T Turbo. We strive to render streaming video in standard definition (SD), with a maximum speed of 2Mbps if you have both a 5G-enabled device and prepaid plan, or 1.5Mbps if you don’t.

To experience higher definition streaming, you can turn off Video Management any time at att.com/myprepaid.

With Video Management on, other content bundled by content providers with streaming video may be slowed. This includes content such as video downloads, filters, lenses, and catalogs.
