Review these exceptions Some manufacturers may exchange or repair your device at no cost to you. For example:

Samsung S4 Active - First follow all the instructions in the device manual. If the device remains non-functional and the liquid damage indicator (LDI) is triggered after water submersion, for your one-time free replacement (not applicable to Samsung S5 devices), you can contact us.
Sonim devices - Sonim offers a 3-year warranty after the purchase date. Sonim's warranty covers liquid, physical & mechanical damage (i.e. screen cracks).
If you've had your Sonim XP6 for 0-12 months, contact us for troubleshooting and warranty support.
With limited exceptions noted above, liquid damage is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. If you return a device with a liquid damage indicator that is triggered, missing, or damaged, you'll be charged the total sales price of the replacement device and your damaged device will be returned to you.
Liquid damage indicator color
Valid liquid damage indicators (not exposed to liquid) are usually white.
Most liquid damage indicators turn red when exposed to liquid.
Liquid damage indicator location The liquid damage indicator for a device is typically found:
On the back of the device with the back cover removed.
Within the battery compartment (with the battery removed).
In the SIM tray or earphone jack, or within the camera flash (for devices with non-removable batteries).
Some devices might have a secondary liquid damage indicator on the battery itself.
Removing the liquid damage indicator (LDI) voids the warranty.
