How to check and pay your installment balance online

Here's how to check and pay your balance:
  1. Go to Installment plan details. If you have more than one device, select the device you want to view.
  2. Select Make a plan payment to pay off your device or pay the amount needed to upgrade, if applicable.

Important details

  • Once submitted, payments are final.
  • You may be able to unlock your device after you pay off its installment plan. Get info about device unlock eligibility
  • If you have an AT&T Signature Program discount, you can only pay with a checking or savings account.
  • While we don’t accept extra monthly payments on installment balances, you can pay off your full remaining balance any time. If you have a turn-in-eligible plan, you may want to consider turning in your smartphone and upgrading to a new device instead. Eligible plans include AT&T Installment Plan with Next UpSM and AT&T Next®.

Have a buy-one, get-one device on an installment plan and want to view your monthly credit for your free device? Just check your bill. Look for it in the Make a payment section of your current bill, or Previous activity on last month’s bill.
