Manage AutoPay for AT&T Prepaid

Learn how to set up or remove AutoPay from your AT&T Prepaid account, or how to cancel your Prepaid account completely.


  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account. If it’s your first time signing in, select Don’t have a user ID? Create one now and follow the prompts.
  2. Select Manage Prepaid account, then Make a Payment, and then Pay and Enroll in AutoPay.
  3. Choose your payment method or add a new payment method.
  4. Select Continue.
  5. Read and agree to the AutoPay terms and follow the prompts.

Good to know: If you don’t use AutoPay, you’ll need to pay your AT&T Prepaid® bill when it’s due to keep your service. If you don’t, your service will be turned off.

To cancel AutoPay for AT&T Prepaid:

  1. Sign in to your AT&T Prepaid account.
  2. Select Home, then Manage AutoPay.
  3. Choose End AutoPay.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm your AutoPay cancellation.

FYI: If you don’t use AutoPay and don’t pay your bill when it renews, your AT&T Prepaid phone number will be reassigned after 60 days.
