Manage mobile purchases

Capability to charge mobile purchases to your wireless account
You can purchase content, goods, and services (including subscriptions) such as applications and games from AT&T and other companies, and make donations, by applying charges to your wireless account. When making a mobile purchase, you'll get a text notification, and the cost of the purchase is deducted from your AT&T PREPAIDSM (formerly GoPhone®) account. These charges appear as separate line items on your AT&T PREPAID account. You are responsible for all charges for authorized purchases and may block these purchases by adding Purchase Blocker.

Block mobile purchases charged to your AT&T PREPAID account

Purchase Blocker is a free feature that allows you to block your device from making mobile purchases and buying subscriptions sold by other companies that would be deducted from your AT&T account. Purchase Blocker also blocks some mobile purchases and subscriptions sold by AT&T.

When Purchase Blocker is on, existing mobile subscriptions will be canceled and one-time purchase attempts will be unsuccessful (including one-time charitable donations). Purchase Blocker does not restrict mobile purchases paid with credit cards or other forms of payment.

Adding Purchase Blocker
Purchase Blocker must be added to each wireless number you wish to block in your account. Add it to your wireless number by logging in to myAT&T and selecting Add-Ons.

How to view mobile purchases or cancel subscriptions

View mobile purchases
To view and manage your mobile purchases, you'll need the AT&T prepaid device that was used to make the purchases.
  1. Go to Mobile Purchases and enter the 10-digit AT&T wireless phone number of the device that was used to make the purchase.
  2. Select Next. An 8-digit one-time PIN will be sent as a free text message to the device. You'll need access to the device that made the purchase.
  3. Enter the 8-digit one-time PIN, and then select Submit. On the Purchases Summary page, you'll see your recent mobile purchases.
 
Cancel a mobile subscription
You can purchase third-party subscriptions directly from your device. If a subscription is billed through AT&T, you can cancel it by following these steps:
  1. Go to Mobile Purchases and enter the 10-digit AT&T wireless phone number of the device that was used to make the purchase.
  2. Select Next. An 8-digit one-time PIN will be sent to the device. You'll need access to the device that made the purchase.
  3. Enter the 8-digit one-time PIN, and then select Submit. On the Purchases Summary page, you'll see your recent mobile purchases.
  4. Select the subscription or service you want to cancel.
  5. Once the new page opens, check the box marked Cancel Subscription.
  6. Select Submit Request.
