Use fingerprint recognition for myAT&T

You can now scan your fingerprint to quickly access your account information. Learn how to enable this functionality in myAT&T.

Enable the myAT&T app to use fingerprint recognition

  1. Make sure fingerprint recognition is already set up on your device.
  2. Open the myAT&T app1.
  3. Tap Manage app settings.
  4. Turn on Touch ID (iOS devices) or Fingerprint Access (Android devices). This setting only appears on compatible devices.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the process.
Note: If you’re unable to use your fingerprint, you can enter your password to use the myAT&T app.1

Additional information

  • Fingerprint recognition must be already enabled on your device in order to use it in the myAT&T app.1
  • You can disable fingerprint recognition for the myAT&T app1 by using Manage app settings. 
  • AT&T does not store your unique fingerprint in the myAT&T app.1 We use the function that is included on your device.
